Well, Sharol went home, and now Jill and Emelina are en route to Portland. That’s our excuse for the lapse in pictures. Guess you’ll just have to come see her in person! For those of you that can’t, well there will be more pictures from time to time, just not every day, as it can actually be quite a task to keep up with that. But its almost thanksgiving, so I’ll be sure to snap lots of cute pictures with the family.

After a long fussy night and day, Emelina is taking a bit of a snooze to recharge her batteries. Jill takes advantage of a nursing break to give dad a call.

Jill takes the crew to the park on a rare, beautiful sunny day in Vancouver. She apparently has a little bear cub in her frontpack (see the feet?)
Emelina took a good nap today in her own bed; she ought to be enjoying her bed that by all rights is much nicer than our own (read organic cotton mattress)!

Fast approaching 3 weeks young, Emelina spent some time this morning practicing her best Finnegan & Gracie impressions. She does a pretty good “lay-on-the-bed-and-roll-around-in-dog hair” impression if you ask me. Aside from some dog like behavior and and the occasional cat-like whimper, she really is becoming more and more of a perfect little person. She seems to be sleeping a little better, and is generally getting along just fine…Grandma says wait until she’s a teenager.
This will be my last post from Vancouver, as I’m headed to Winnemucca, NV until thanksgiving. Hopefully Sharol or Jill will take some pics and video and post them on the blog or send them to me so I can. Either way, the blog will remain, though maybe just a few less pics of Emelina and the Vancouver rain.

Emelina had just been chillin’ out, and the started making scrunchy faces…That vibachair works wonders, a few rocks and she zonked right out, or maybe it was the smell of bacon, eggs and buttery toast with a side of hot chocolate.

Emelina yawns and gets a bit squirmy after trying on another new outfit. We think she looks pretty cute despite the fit she was about to throw…Thanks George and Boel! The battle for sleep continues.
