Well. I am now back at work (for the last week), but before I traveled back to the land of flat tires, Jill and I took a nice vacation to Hawaii. We stayed in Wailuku at a hostel full of global travelers. We had a good trip and I finally got see the island that Jill had been talking about. Aside from simply enjoying a nice beach in the late afternoon, I really liked the hike we did through Haleakala crater….The hardest thing I’ve done in the last year or so…it was a 12 mile hike from the crater rim down to and across the floor, and back up some serious switch-backs on the far side. It wasn’t the distance so much as the elevation gain/loss. I have finally finished sorting out some pictures from our trip that I took. Jill took a few with her camera, but you’ll have to ask her to see the pics!

Enjoy!
More to come in the next few days.
